Lumecca IPL the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy available to treat pigmentation, pigmented lesions, redness and vascular lesions. It has been approved by Health Canada and offers UNBEATEABLE results, with significant improvements in skin complexion, clarity and overall radiance within a single treatment.

The process by which it works is referred to as selective photo-thermolysis. This means it selectively targets red and brown pigment in the skin, It can be used in combination with injectable treatments and micro-needling.

 
 

Some people experience pinkness in the skin post treatment that typically resolves within hours. There is no significant downtime with this treatments. Clients may do this treatment during their work day and return to work post treatment.

 
 

Results are expected after a single treatment. Clients may require 3-6 treatments depending on their skin goals. Treatments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.

Lasting results will depend on factors including pre-existing medical conditions, the use of certain prescription and over the counter medications, genetic predisposition, compliance to a targeted skincare regimen and sunscreen adherence.

After booking our friendly staff will contact you to find a date and time that works for your treatment. We will confirm the appointment by text message and include treatment instructions. The treatment itself is virtually painless. It is described as feeling a “small pinch” or “elastic band snap”. Redness may be seen immediately after treatment. Sun damage/brown spots may get significantly darker as the pigment is brought to the skin surface. This may take up to 21 days to resolve.
